A 39.4-metre (129-ft) superyacht, valued at $7.8 million (over Rs 62 crore), sank about 15 kilometers off the coast of Catanzaro in southern Italy. A video shared by the Italian Coast Guard shows the dramatic moment the luxury yacht sank in the Ionian Sea.

The Italian Coast Guard quickly intervened to rescue the four passengers and five crew members. The ship sank while en route from Gallipoli to Milazzo.
According to a Bloomberg report, the vessel My Saga was sailing Saturday evening when the Coast Guard responded to a call from the crew that the stern of the boat was filling with water.
The Coast Guard quickly responded and dispatched a vessel to the yacht and successfully rescued all on board.
The 129-foot superyacht sank in the Gulf of Squilles on Saturday (August 20), about nine nautical miles off the coast of Catanzaro, Italy.
