Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra is quite active on social media and is known for his tweets which often go viral. The business tycoon often shares tweets expressing his strong opinion about it. Recently, the Mahindra chairman posted a video of a road surrounded by trees on both sides. Moreover, in his post, he mentioned Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and requested him to plan rural roads built in India based on the road in the video. Note that the exact location of the road in the video is not yet known.
Anand Mahindra tweeted, “I love tunnels, but honestly, I want to go through ‘tunnels’ like this… @nitin_gadkari ji, can we purposefully plan to plant some of these tunnels on new rural roads? You Building?”

The video shared by the business tycoon is going viral on the internet and has garnered more than 2 million views. Moreover, netizens liked the video and flooded the comments with their suggestions. One of the social media users commented on the post, “Sir, if you visit the Radhanagari forest area connecting Kolhapur to Konkan, it looks the same.”

Another user came up with a suggestion that, “In some places in Kashmir, we have roads lined with deodhar trees – they are beautiful.”
Meanwhile, the Indian government is working to build India’s longest elevated wildlife corridor between Delhi and Dehradun. The corridor is part of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway project and is expected to reduce travel time between the cities from 6 hours to 2.5 hours. A 12 km stretch of wildlife corridor passes through the Rajaji National Park and is expected to protect the wildlife of the area.
