Hillary Clinton has defended Finnish Prime Minister Marin who faced criticism for attending a party

“Keep dancing,” former US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton tweeted on Sunday, lending her personal support to Finnish Prime Minister Sana Marin, whose taste for partying has drawn global attention.

Clinton’s post included a photo of herself, dancing in a crowded club with a big smile on her face during a 2012 visit to Colombia when she was still secretary of state. It ended with the words “Keep dancing, @marinsana”.

Marin quickly responded, tweeting, “Thank you @HillaryClinton” and a heart emoji.

In a recently leaked video, Marin was seen dancing and partying with a group of friends and celebrities.

Critics said it showed behavior inappropriate for a prime minister, while others – now including Clinton – defended the 36-year-old politician’s right to enjoy a private event with friends.

Marin told his fellow members of the Social Democratic Party that it was important to let loose sometimes.

“I am human. And I sometimes yearn for joy, light and fun in these dark clouds,” said Marine, the world’s youngest prime minister. He added that he had not missed “a day of work”.

But he was further shocked when a picture of the two women lifting their tops emerged during a party at the prime minister’s residence in July.

Marin apologized again.

Clinton, who is 74, headed the State Department from 2009 to 2013 under President Barack Obama.

In 2016, he was the Democratic candidate for President of the United States. Although widely endorsed, she lost to real estate magnate Donald Trump in a stunning upset.
